Police identify five teenagers over Telfs house fire

Police have identified five teenagers suspected of starting a fire in a vacant house in Telfs on July 11, ORF reported. The group comprises one 13-year-old and four 14-year-olds.

After intensive investigations, the teenagers admitted setting several objects alight with a lighter inside the house. When the flames spread to a fabric armchair, they tried to put out the fire. They fled after failing to do so.

The Telfs Volunteer Fire Brigade brought the fire under control quickly. The damage is estimated at a mid-four-figure sum in euros.
