A technical fault at Skyguide has cut landing capacity at Zurich Airport to 50 percent, SRF reported. Capacity in Swiss airspace is also restricted.

Takeoffs and landings at Zurich and Geneva airports were briefly suspended but have since resumed, Skyguide said. The problem affects a system that generates the radar image. Skyguide said there were no signs of a cyberattack.

Skyguide said safety in Swiss airspace was assured and apologised to its partners and their passengers. Zurich Airport said it could not yet assess any further effects on operations.
