Vorarlberg gymnasts Leni Bohle and Gino Vetter both missed the all-around final at the artistic gymnastics world championships in Rotterdam, ORF reported. Bohle finished 76th in the women’s qualification, while Vetter placed 64th in the men’s event.
The top 24 gymnasts qualify for each all-around final, with a maximum of two athletes per country. Women compete on four apparatus and men on six.
Bohle, 19, scored 47.965 points, below her personal target of 50, in the qualification, which ended late on Monday. Her competition began with a fall on the uneven bars dismount and an error on the balance beam. She recovered on the remaining apparatus and said she was pleased with how she refocused after the difficult start.
Vetter, 20, fell on the horizontal bar and on landing from his vault on Saturday. He performed solidly on the other four apparatus, including some new elements, and scored 74.764 points. The result was more than two points better than his score at his first world championships in Jakarta in 2025. He finished about 3.7 points short of the final qualifying spot.
Burgenland gymnast Charlize Mörz was 49th in the women’s all-around qualification and scored more than 50 points for the first time in her career. She finished 15th in vault, her speciality, after an error on her second attempt ruled out a place in the event final.
