Adult day tickets at some Upper Austrian ski resorts will cost around 70 euros this winter, ORF reports, as prices rise by about three percent.

Hinterstoder and Hochficht use dynamic pricing, with fares varying according to how early a ticket is booked and how much demand there is. Their lowest prices are 44.50 euros, while tickets can reach around 70 euros.

Dachstein-West uses fixed prices. An adult day ticket costs 69 euros online and 73 euros at the ticket office.

The ski resorts cite higher energy and labour costs as reasons for the increases. Frequent skiers can lower the daily cost with combination tickets. Hinterstoder and Hochficht say they remain cheaper than resorts in Salzburg; online day tickets in Flachau range from 70 euros to just under 80 euros.
