Machine parts trap worker during repair in Styria

A 26-year-old worker was seriously injured after becoming trapped between two parts of a machine at a wood-processing business in Frohnleiten, ORF reported.

The man, from the Graz-Umgebung district, was trying to fix a machine fault at about 7 a.m. on Monday when he was caught between the parts.

After receiving initial treatment, he was flown by the Christophorus 17 rescue helicopter to Graz University Hospital, police said.
