Motorcyclist dies after crash during overtaking manoeuvre

A 57-year-old motorcyclist died in hospital after crashing during an overtaking manoeuvre in Münzkirchen, in the Schärding district, ORF reported.

The rider was overtaking a car when he left the road for reasons that remain unclear and fell. Emergency crews treated him at the scene before taking him to hospital in Passau, where he died from his serious injuries.

Police are investigating the exact circumstances of the crash.
