E-scooter rider leaves injured 90-year-old in Kufstein

A 90-year-old man was injured after an unlit e-scooter rider passed close to him in Kufstein and rode away without stopping, ORF reported. Police are seeking witnesses.
The man was walking along the pavement on Defreggerstraße towards the district hospital at about 6.15pm on Wednesday. Near number 18, the rider approached him and passed so close to his right side that he was startled and fell.
The rider continued on, leaving the man injured on the ground until a young couple found him and helped. He suffered several abrasions and a serious injury to one leg.
Kufstein police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or can provide information about the rider to come forward. They are also seeking contact with the couple who helped the man.
