Missing sheep found with newborn lamb in St Gallen

A farmer in St Gallen found his missing Engadine sheep in a forest on Thursday, alongside a newborn lamb, SRF reports. Both animals were well.

The farmer had reported the sheep missing on Tuesday, prompting city police to ask for information. Police said the pregnant sheep had likely separated from the flock and hidden in the forest within its enclosure to give birth.

After two days, the farmer brought both animals back to the farm.
