Man injures pub guest with blackjack after threatening patrons
A 32-year-old man injured a 47-year-old guest with a blackjack after a dispute outside a venue in Wolfsberg, ORF reported. He had also threatened several people with death, police said.
The dispute began inside the venue at about 12.40 a.m. on Sunday. A security guard asked the man to leave. He went, but threatened to kill those present before driving away.
He returned a short time later, and another confrontation took place outside. Guests restrained him on the ground until police arrived.
Police imposed a provisional weapons ban and found drug paraphernalia on the man. He refused a breathalyser test.
