Red Bull increased its net revenue by 9 percent to 12.2 billion euros in 2025 and raised its profit by 5 percent to 1.9 billion euros, despite global trade policy uncertainty, according to the company accounts reported by ORF.

The owners received a total dividend of 1.1 billion euros, including about 530 million euros for Mark Mateschitz. Thailand’s Yoovidhya family owns 51 percent of Red Bull GmbH. Mateschitz inherited the remaining 49 percent after his father died in autumn 2022.

Red Bull’s effective tax expense for 2025 was about 645 million euros, according to the accounts. The company, one of Austria’s largest taxpayers, is headquartered in Fuschl am See, a municipality in the Flachgau district of Salzburg.

The company spent about 3.2 billion euros on marketing in 2025, including 1.5 billion euros on sponsorship and nearly 900 million euros on advertising. Its activities include motorsport, football, winter sports and extreme sports. Red Bull also operates in media through Red Bull Media House, which includes ServusTV and magazines.

Vorarlberg-based drinks manufacturer Rauch has traditionally handled the filling of Red Bull cans, while Red Bull focuses mainly on marketing and sales. The drink is currently produced and filled mainly in Austria, Switzerland and the United States. The company plans to open two more production sites, in Germany and Canada.

Red Bull sees its strongest medium-term growth potential in its core markets in Europe and the United States, as well as in selected developing countries. The company said in its annual report that it expects continued investment in the brand and a strong focus on costs to lead to further profit growth.

Dietrich Mateschitz founded Red Bull GmbH in 1984 with Chaleo Yoovidhya’s company, T.C. Pharmaceutical. He had encountered the Thai drink Krating Daeng on a business trip in the 1980s.
