ORF reports that the Alles Clara app connects people caring for relatives at home with professionals in care and psychology. It supplements existing care services in three Austrian states, including Burgenland.
In Burgenland, carers can register with their postcode and receive free online advice. They can also choose to speak with an adviser by phone or video call. App founder Nicole Traxler said the service is designed to help people find support when they have concerns or questions about care.
About 300 family carers in Burgenland have used the app so far, said Sabine Wecko of Burgenland Social Services. They seek guidance on arranging mobile care services or day care, as well as on financial matters such as care allowance and funding for round-the-clock care.
A consultation lasts an average of two months, Traxler said.
