Police arrest 18-year-old after Munich stabbing
Police have arrested an 18-year-old suspect after a 21-year-old man was stabbed and seriously injured at a bus stop in Munich, BR reported.
The victim was found bleeding heavily at the Scheidplatz bus stop early Sunday. He underwent emergency surgery and is no longer in life-threatening condition. A warrant was issued for the suspect, including on suspicion of attempted manslaughter.
Police said the two men knew each other and were part of the same circle of friends. The motive remains unclear. The 18-year-old Slovak man was arrested without resistance in Munich on Wednesday morning by officers from a police fugitive squad. Police said he had previously come to their attention over violent and theft offences. He was due to appear before an investigating judge later that day.
