Urfahr autumn market draws 465,000 visitors

The Urfahr autumn market attracted 465,000 visitors over 10 days, 25,000 more than last year, ORF reported. The 2025 market ran for nine days.
Market organisers said an additional Friday evening gave visitors more time to attend and helped boost the first weekend, which had sunny weather. The market featured 100 exhibitors, 72 fairground operators and five new rides.
A beer and half a roast chicken with fries cost about 25 euros. A fortune teller also answered questions from people worried about the future.
The next Urfahr market is scheduled to run for 10 days, starting on April 30, 2027.
