Two people were seriously injured in separate traffic accidents in the Oberpullendorf district on Saturday evening, ORF reported. A 30-year-old motorcyclist hit a tree near Landsee, while a 28-year-old woman’s car overturned in Deutschkreutz.

The woman’s car left the B62, which runs towards Hungary, for an unknown reason and overturned. She was flown by the Christophorus 18 emergency helicopter to hospital in Eisenstadt.

Near Landsee, shortly before the border with Lower Austria, the motorcyclist hit a tree without another vehicle being involved, according to the state security centre. He was taken by the Christophorus 16 emergency helicopter to hospital in Wiener Neustadt.

Later that evening, a man was slightly injured in a moped crash in Draßburg, in the Mattersburg district. He was taken by ambulance to Wiener Neustadt.
