Vorarlberg voters choose region’s entry for TV show

Viewers can vote for one of three destinations to represent Vorarlberg on the television show “9 Places, 9 Treasures” in Vienna, ORF reports. The candidates are the Alpe Klesenza mountain pasture, the St. Corneli pilgrimage church and the Tilisuna area.

Alpe Klesenza lies at the foot of the Rote Wand in the Großes Walsertal Biosphere Reserve. St. Corneli, in Feldkirch-Tosters, is known for its church and an ancient yew tree described as Vorarlberg’s oldest. The Tilisuna area is at the end of the Gampadel valley in the municipality of Tschagguns.

Votes can be cast by phone or text message from 7 p.m. on 2 October until 11.59 p.m. on 6 October. Each call or text costs 50 cents. The winner will be announced on 8 October.

To vote, call 0901 05 909 25 for Alpe Klesenza, 0901 05 909 26 for St. Corneli or 0901 05 909 27 for the Tilisuna area.
