Driver and passenger injured after car hits bridge railing

A driver and another occupant were injured when their car hit a bridge railing in Piesendorf, in the Pinzgau region, overnight on Wednesday, ORF reported.

A doctor from the Piesendorf volunteer fire brigade and an emergency doctor from the Red Cross treated the injured at the scene before they were taken to hospital.

Firefighters secured the scene, recovered the wrecked car and cleared the road.
