Possible aerial bomb found in Salzburg’s Mirabell Gardens

A possible aerial bomb was found in Salzburg’s Mirabell Gardens on Wednesday evening, ORF reported. Police have cordoned off the garden while explosives specialists and the bomb disposal service examine the object.

The object was unearthed by workers during construction work. It is not yet clear what it is.

The entire garden is closed. There has been no impact on road traffic so far, but emergency services say disruption cannot be ruled out as the investigation continues.
