Moped rider injured in rear-end crash in Feldbach

A 40-year-old moped rider was injured in a rear-end crash on the B66 in Feldbach on Monday evening, ORF reported.

The woman, from the Southeast Styria district, was travelling from Mühldorf bei Feldbach towards Bad Gleichenberg when a 41-year-old car driver failed to see her and hit her moped. She fell in the collision.

The woman sustained injuries of unspecified severity and was taken by the Red Cross to Feldbach Hospital. A breath test found the car driver to be moderately intoxicated. Police are investigating the exact circumstances of the crash.
