Car hits 12-year-old cyclist on Feldkirch bike path

A 12-year-old cyclist was struck by a car on a bike path in Feldkirch on Monday afternoon, ORF reported. The boy, who was riding an e-bike, was taken to Feldkirch State Hospital.

The driver was travelling on the L60 towards Gisingen at about 1:25 p.m. and turned right into a company entrance, where the car collided with the boy, who was riding in the opposite direction towards Meiningen.

Emergency responders treated the boy at the scene before taking him to hospital. Both the car and the e-bike were damaged.
