Driver loses semi-trailer on A2 ramp near Bad St. Leonhard

A 47-year-old driver lost his semi-trailer on a ramp to the A2 motorway in Bad St. Leonhard, in the Wolfsberg district, on Monday, ORF reported. No one was injured, and the cause was not immediately known.

The crash happened at about 3.12pm. Two lanes towards the A2 were closed, with traffic managed in alternating directions. The motorway entrance and exit were shut to all traffic for about an hour while the vehicle was towed and recovery and clean-up work took place.

Sixteen members of the Bad St. Leonhard Volunteer Fire Brigade and 12 from the Preitenegg Volunteer Fire Brigade attended. ASFINAG also assisted.
