Cyclist and car occupants fight after overtaking dispute

A dispute after an overtaking manoeuvre on the Keutschacher Straße road in Carinthia escalated into a fight between a cyclist and a car passenger, ORF reported.
Shortly after 4 p.m. on Monday, a 37 year old man from Klagenfurt was cycling towards Klagenfurt from Schiefling when a car driven by a 19 year old man from Vienna overtook him on a rural section of the road. The two road users argued during the manoeuvre.
The car later stopped near a construction site, where the cyclist and the occupants encountered each other again. The cyclist stopped beside the car, and another dispute broke out with the passenger, a 16 year old from Graz.
The men then allegedly exchanged several punches. They suffered injuries of unspecified severity and sought medical treatment independently.
