Farmer injured after neighbour’s dogs attack in Hochfilzen

An Austrian farmer was injured after three dogs attacked and repeatedly bit him in Hochfilzen on Sunday afternoon, ORF reported.

The 54-year-old had gone to his 50-year-old German neighbour’s property to check a water pipe leading to his adjacent meadow. When he tried to enter the stable at about 4.15pm, the three dogs, which were loose, attacked him.

The man was bitten several times across his body and received treatment at St Johann Hospital. Under an agreement, he was apparently required to contact the owner before entering the property, but is believed to have failed to do so.
