Car crashes into construction site in Dornbirn, injuring four

Four people were injured when a car left the road and crashed into a construction site in Dornbirn overnight, ORF reported on Sunday.

The accident was reported to the rescue and fire brigade control centre at about 1.20 a.m. on Kastenlangen Straße. According to initial information from the scene, the driver lost control of the car, left the road and broke through a construction barrier.

The vehicle hit pipes stored in the construction area before coming to a stop against a tree. All four occupants were injured, with the severity of their injuries not yet determined, and were taken to hospitals in Bregenz and Dornbirn for further assessment.
