Driver found asleep at red construction light, loses licence

A 48-year-old driver was found asleep in his car after stopping at a red construction traffic light on the B70 Packer Straße in the Wolfsberg district, ORF reported. A breathalyser test showed slight alcohol intoxication.

Police said the man stopped shortly before 6 a.m. on Saturday. A patrol later found him asleep in the vehicle.

Officers noticed clear signs of alcohol intoxication during the ensuing driver and vehicle check. His driving licence was provisionally seized, and he will be reported.
