Two accidents injure four people in northern Burgenland

Four people were injured in two separate traffic accidents in Burgenland, ORF reported. Two people on a motorcycle were seriously and lightly injured after falling on Friday evening, while two drivers suffered minor injuries in a head-on crash on Saturday morning.

The motorcycle accident happened on the Geschriebenstein Road between Lockenhaus in the Oberpullendorf district and Rechnitz in the Oberwart district.

An emergency medical helicopter, Christophorus 16, flew the seriously injured person to hospital in Wiener Neustadt. The second person was taken to Oberwart Clinic with minor injuries. Further details about the accident were not immediately available.

Later, two cars collided head-on in a construction area on the S31 near Oberpullendorf. The two drivers, a man and a woman, were taken to hospital with minor injuries. The road section was briefly closed.
