82-year-old motorcyclist dies after collision in Fürstenfeld

An 82-year-old motorcyclist died on Friday after colliding with a car in Fürstenfeld, ORF reported. The 81-year-old car driver is believed to have failed to see him while turning.

Shortly after noon, the driver, from the Hartberg-Fürstenfeld district, was travelling near the fire station in Söchau. Police said he was turning onto a municipal road when the collision occurred.

The motorcyclist fell and suffered fatal injuries. The car driver appeared to be uninjured but was taken to Feldbach State Hospital for further medical assessment.
