ORF reported that an unoccupied car slid about 70 metres down a slope in Piesendorf in Salzburg’s Pinzgau district on Friday morning and broke through the exterior wall of a residential building. No one was injured.
The incident happened at about 9 a.m. on Imbachhornweg. The reason the car began sliding remains unclear.
The Piesendorf volunteer fire brigade secured the scene and recovered the vehicle using a winch. Emergency crews then carried out safety and clean-up work.
