Reports: Seco chief Helene Budliger to step down

Helene Budliger Artieda, head of Switzerland’s State Secretariat for Economic Affairs, has resigned and will leave her post at the beginning of next year, SRF reported, citing Blick and NZZ research.

The State Secretariat for Economic Affairs did not comment to the newspapers.

Budliger Artieda has led the Seco since August 2022. Most recently, she played a key role in the customs deal with the United States.
