Bankruptcy proceedings have been opened against Domäne Lilienberg Weinbau GmbH in Tainach, ORF reports. The company belongs to the group of Lilihill investor Franz Peter Orasch.

The proceedings were opened by Klagenfurt Regional Court following a petition from the health insurance fund. The company’s known liabilities amount to around four million euros, according to the Alpine Creditors Association, and could increase. Three employees are affected, two in Tainach and one in Vienna.

The winery includes a restaurant that has since closed. The ongoing auction proceedings have been suspended following the bankruptcy filing. Klagenfurt lawyer Gernot Murko has been appointed administrator. Creditors can file claims with AKV Europa until 2 November 2026.
