Two hospitalized after car overturns on wet road

Two people were injured after their car skidded and overturned on the rain-soaked Friesacher Straße (B317) in Carinthia on Friday morning, ORF reported.

The driver was travelling from Althofen towards St. Veit when the vehicle lost traction at the Hunnenbrunn exit. It came to rest on its roof on an embankment.

The driver and passenger were able to leave the car without assistance. Red Cross paramedics treated them before taking them to hospital with injuries of unspecified severity.

Firefighters secured the crash scene and disconnected the vehicle from its power supply. The Hunnenbrunn exit was closed to all traffic during recovery and clean-up operations.
