A farmer’s quick response prevented flames from spreading from a burning tractor to a building in Weißenkirchen im Attergau in the Vöcklabruck district on Monday, ORF reported. The approximately 60-year-old Massey Ferguson tractor was badly damaged.

After driving the tractor, the farmer parked it in a garage and closed the door. He then heard a noise inside. Looking through a gap in the door, he saw that the tractor was on fire.

He immediately closed all the doors, reducing the fire’s oxygen supply. Three fire brigades with about 50 firefighters quickly brought the blaze under control and towed the tractor out of the garage.
