SUV and licence plates stolen in Hard workshop burglary

Unknown burglars stole an off-road vehicle and two licence plates during a break-in at a workshop in Hard, ORF reported. They also searched the workshop owner’s office and all cabinets.

Police said the burglary took place between 1 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. on Sunday. The intruders removed an insect screen fitted in front of a tilted window, but it was initially unclear how they entered the workshop hall.

The stolen vehicle was a “212” made by Chinese manufacturer BAW. The amount of damage had not been determined.

Police forensic investigators examined the workshop on Sunday, and further investigations are under way.
