Burgenland, cannabis, police

Police in the Neusiedl am See district seized six cannabis plants from the garden of a single-family home on Tuesday, ORF reported, citing the Burgenland provincial police directorate.

A concerned father had reported his 41-year-old son missing. During checks at the man’s home, officers found the plants and confiscated them.

Police also discovered that the allegedly missing man was inside the house. He opened the front door only after officers knocked several times. Because of his health condition, he was taken to the nearest hospital and reported while remaining at liberty.
