Drunk woman allegedly threatens neighbours with gun in Klagenfurt

A 66-year-old woman allegedly aimed a gun at a man and a woman on a neighbouring balcony in Klagenfurt on Monday evening, ORF reported. Police said she was heavily intoxicated.

Officers from the Rapid Intervention Group, known as SIG, established contact with the woman and persuaded her to open the apartment. A gas pressure pistol was seized inside.

The woman was already subject to a weapons ban. She will be reported to the public prosecutor on suspicion of making dangerous threats and violating the firearms law.

The Cobra special operations unit and SIG were deployed during the incident.
