Search fails to find missing 64-year-old woman in Tyrol

Police have received possible sightings of a 64-year-old woman who has been missing from Volders since Wednesday, but a search in the reported area has found no trace, ORF reported.

The woman left her home on Großvolderberg at about 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday and headed in an unknown direction. Several reports received by police on Saturday suggested she may have been seen in the Imst district, around Roppen or Karres.

It has not been confirmed that the sightings involved the missing woman. She is described as 172 centimetres tall, with a solid build and brown hair. She has a limp and was carrying a backpack.
