Activists protest at Google data centre construction site in Kronstorf

About 20 people protested early Sunday at the construction site of a Google data centre in Kronstorf, ORF reported. According to a statement from Attac Austria, the protesters were activists from the Rechenzentren Nein Danke initiative.

Photos showed banners attached to a bridge over the B309 and to the data centre building. Attac said the protesters were calling for an immediate halt to construction in Kronstorf and to all planned data centres in Austria.
