The Styrian e-commerce company Niceshops sharply increased its revenue in the first half of 2026 and is expecting another record year, ORF reported.
Niceshops generated 97.3 million euros in the first six months. That contrasts with an inflation-adjusted 0.7 percent decline in revenue across Austria’s retail sector.
The company has undergone a transformation over the past two years. After reducing its workforce, Niceshops repositioned itself and now employs more than 400 people at locations in Saaz, Graz and Vienna.
Niceshops has 1.3 million active customers in several countries. Last year, it recorded revenue of 169 million euros, a figure it expects to surpass this year.
The company says environmentally friendly shipping is one of its success factors. Its deliveries are plastic-free and use 100 percent renewable electricity.
Alongside logistics and technology services, Niceshops plans to enter two more countries next year. Its main markets remain Austria, Germany and Switzerland, while the company sees Hungary as an emerging region with significant potential.
