Motorcyclist seriously injured in Linz collision

A 43-year-old motorcyclist from Linz was seriously injured in a collision on the B126 in Linz on Tuesday evening, ORF reported. He was taken to UKH Linz hospital after receiving first aid at the scene.
The accident happened at about 6:40 p.m. A 22-year-old woman from the Urfahr-Umgebung district was driving out of the city in a line of traffic when the motorcyclist overtook several vehicles.
After seeing an oncoming vehicle, the motorcyclist tried to rejoin the line. He collided with the car, was thrown over it and landed on the road.
The car driver was uninjured. Both vehicles were severely damaged and could no longer be driven.
