An autopsy has found no evidence that a 46-year-old man found dead in an apartment in Vienna’s Floridsdorf district was the victim of foul play, ORF reported. Investigations by the Vienna State Criminal Police Office are continuing.

Investigators are now focusing on who else was in the apartment when the man died and whether an offence by omission may be connected to his death.

Several drugs were detected in the man’s blood during the autopsy. Police said the investigations have so far produced no specific indication of foul play.

The man’s body was found in an apartment in Leopoldau, a district of Vienna, on Monday. Foul play was initially not ruled out because of the circumstances in which the body was found and neighbours’ reports of a loud argument in the apartment.
