Mother rescued after car plunges into construction pit in Fürstenfeld

A mother was trapped after a car left the road and fell into a construction pit in Fürstenfeld on Sunday, ORF reported. Firefighters freed her from the vehicle, and she was flown to hospital after receiving initial treatment from the Red Cross.

The crash occurred on Burgauer Straße. Three other occupants, including a four-year-old child, were able to get out of the car themselves.

Firefighters used hydraulic rescue equipment to remove a car door and free the trapped woman. The other occupants were taken to hospital by ambulance.
