L190 roadworks begin in Nenzing with night closures

Extensive repairs have begun on the L190 in Nenzing, ORF reported. From early September, the Vorarlberg road will be completely closed in sections on several nights.
The work covers several sections between Hosp bakery and the junction to Walgauwerk. From Monday, August 24, parts of the drainage system and kerb boundaries will be renewed. The existing asphalt will then be milled to a depth of up to 12 centimetres and replaced with new load-bearing and surface layers.
The paving work is scheduled to run from Wednesday, September 2, until approximately mid-September. Crews will work each night from 6.30 p.m. to 6.30 a.m., with full closures in the relevant construction sections.
Traffic will be diverted via nearby regional roads, including the L50, L54, L74 and L87. The diversion routes will be signposted.
The night closures are not expected to result in timetable changes or cancellations for passengers on the Landbus Walgau bus service. The paving work depends on weather conditions, so the construction and closures may be postponed in bad weather.
