Four injured as bus crashes into car in Miesbach

Four people were injured when a scheduled bus collided with a car in Miesbach in Upper Bavaria, BR reported.

According to police, the 36-year-old bus driver failed to notice that a car ahead had braked for traffic conditions on the B307 and drove into it. The 25-year-old car driver became trapped and had to be freed by firefighters before being taken to hospital.

Nine people were on the bus. Two passengers were injured and taken to hospitals. The bus driver was also injured and planned to seek medical treatment, police said.

Police estimated the damage at around 20,000 euros. The B307 was closed in both directions for half an hour and was not fully reopened for two hours.
