Motorcyclist suffers serious injuries after 20-metre fall

A 48-year-old man from Klagenfurt was seriously injured after falling about 20 metres from the Klippitztörl road in Carinthia on Saturday morning, ORF reported. He was flown to Klagenfurt Hospital.

The man was travelling from Lölling towards Klippitztörl shortly after 10 a.m. when he overtook a car. After moving back into his lane, he left the road on the right for reasons that remain unclear.

He fell down steep terrain and suffered serious injuries. After receiving first aid, he was flown to Klagenfurt Hospital by the C11 rescue helicopter.
