Motorcycle crashes into minibus after overtaking collision

ORF Vorarlberg reported that a motorcycle collided with a minibus in Lingenau on Friday morning. The rider had reportedly grazed a car while overtaking before crashing head-on into the minibus in the opposite lane.

Emergency services were alerted shortly after 11 a.m. following the crash on the L205 between Lingenau and Müselbach. The heavy touring motorcycle slid partly underneath the minibus in the collision.

The motorcycle rider appeared to have suffered minor injuries. A woman and her two children were travelling in the minibus and were injured in the crash and by the airbags that deployed. Rescue services took them to hospital for further examination.
