Police identify owner after dog bites jogger in Grieskirchen

Police have identified a 38-year-old woman from the Grieskirchen district as the owner of a dog that bit a jogger in the thigh on a field path in Grieskirchen on Saturday, ORF reported.

According to police, the dog was running free. The owner allegedly ignored the attack and continued walking.

The injured woman made her way to the Grieskirchen outdoor swimming pool, where a passer-by took her to hospital.

Police said on Thursday that the dog owner would be reported.
