Motorcyclist seriously injured in Murtal crash

A 67-year-old motorcyclist from Germany was seriously injured in a crash in the Murtal district on Monday, ORF reported.
The man was riding on the L514 near Gföllgraben at about 4 p.m. He was travelling from Lachtal towards Oberzeiring when he crashed.
According to initial findings, the motorcyclist lost control and began to slide for reasons that remain unclear. He fell, slid across the road and struck a culvert in the roadside ditch.
After receiving first aid, he was taken to hospital.
