Woman seriously injured after falling from Graz Schloßberg railing

A 35-year-old woman was seriously injured after falling from a railing on Graz’s Schloßberg hill late Saturday night, ORF reported.

The woman was walking on the Schloßberg at about 11 p.m. Police said she was sitting on a plateau on the hill’s western side when she suddenly fell. She later said that everything had gone black before the fall.

Two witnesses told police they had seen the woman sitting on the railing.

Members of Graz’s professional fire brigade, the Red Cross, an emergency doctor and a police patrol secured the injured woman and took her to Graz University Hospital.
