Man injured after firecracker thrown at Tivoli outdoor pool

A man was injured at the Tivoli outdoor swimming pool on Saturday afternoon after an unidentified person allegedly lit and threw a firecracker towards a swimmer, ORF Tirol reported.

The pool operator said the man suffered an injury to his lower leg. Police confirmed the incident to ORF Tirol but initially provided no further details. The suspect was being sought.

Witnesses reported hearing a loud bang and seeing chaotic scenes. One person was taken away by emergency medical services, and police investigations were under way in the late afternoon.
