Woman suffers life-threatening injuries in Mettmach knife attack

ORF Upper Austria reported that a woman suffered life-threatening injuries in a knife attack in Mettmach, in the Ried im Innkreis district, on Friday. Emergency services took her to Ried Hospital, according to a report by the Oberösterreichische Nachrichten newspaper.

Police confirmed the incident to ORF Upper Austria but initially provided no further details. The woman’s partner was reportedly arrested.
