SRF showcases Switzerland’s best eclipse images

SRF has published 27 images of the partial solar eclipse seen across Switzerland on August 12, shortly before sunset.
The Moon passed in front of the Sun, creating a rare and striking spectacle that was photographed in many locations. The images were submitted to SRF Meteo.

The gallery includes photographs from Feusisberg, Bantiger, Bettwil, Thun, Rapperswil, Frienisberg, Basel, Niesen, Kronberg, Linn, St. Gallen, Meggen, Chasseral, Lachen, Nänikon, Zäziwil, Menzingen, Baselland, Staad, Altenrhein, Niederhünigen, Niederteufen and Herzogenbuchsee.
